La Ropa

I bought my first pair of sweat pants today. As of right now, I don't know if I'll start wearing them around the house. I didn't do that with pyjama pants, and I've had those for a whole lot longer. They might just stick to being my dance pants. I just really like wearing jeans; I feel incomplete/lazy if I don't have real clothes on...

If I work at Buffalo David Bitton I have to own/wear a pair of Buffalo David Bitton jeans for every shift. So they could end up being the entirety of my jean purchasing for the next year or so. Unless I come into a large sum of money...

I definitely need to buy new shoes, if only to save me my socks. Right now I need to wear a fresh pair of socks everytime I go outside because my shoes absorb so much slush and water. Very uncomfortable. Probably not too healthy either...

jeans kick ass. as I sit here hung over killing time on eric's laptop, I know that das, dan and I are all wearing jeans - in fact, every guy in the house who has any sort of pants on is wearing jeans.

Guys. You need to walk towards the light.
Pyjama pants are TOO COMFORTABLE. Seriously. Jeans are stiff and have unrelenting waistbands. I seriously get into my PJ's as soon as I get home. On my way home, I get excited to take off my jeans.
I think it's something you need to consciously make an effort to make a habit out of, the wearing of sweatpants and pyjama pants. But after a week you'll see why it's worth it.

but the heaviness and stiffness are part of jeans' charm. you feel so protected in them, they're like the working mans armour

Yeah, but when knights go home, I'm guessing they shed their protective gear in favour of something with a little more give.
It's the same reason why you don't sleep in jeans. Because they're uncomfortable as hell.

i have pink fuzzy pyjama pants with polka dots all over them. they are heaven.
but i also have a nice fitting pair of stretchy jeans that feel pretty sexy i must say.
i think i'm all for sweats in moderation, and special occasions.

what I might gain from wearing pj or sweat pants is fully offset by the expense of effort of putting them on. I'd rather just not think about it.
