Hypothetical situation: You find a bar of soap sitting in a pool of unrecognizable filth. Anything and everything disgusting you can think of, it's in that filth, touching that bar of soap. You really need to shower, but are personally without soap. Do you use the sludge soap? I mean, it's soap. It's not like it can get dirty...

or if theres sand around.. like if you're camping or something, use sand. sand works really well.
Sand is a natural exfoliant :D
I would probably run it under hot water for a good.... five minutes or so. Or take a knife and peel off the outside layer of the bar of soap.
I'd try to clean the soap...(can you clean soap?) first and then use it...I think.
